Sometimes life gets too busy all that's thought about is present financial responsibilities and never the future obstacles ahead. As we recently read in an article, "Millenial Women, Will You Be Ready To Retire", a number of women in our community do not plan accordingly when it comes to retirement.
Our Consumer Credit Counselors work hard to help individuals and families in our community learn more about their finances. They cover topics including budgeting, home ownership, investments basics and even retirement. One option community members have is the myRA, a new retirement savings account from the United States Department of the Treasury. This free investment option is available now and easy to set up. If you need help setting it up, our certified counselors are happy to help.
Consider taking a look into this option, by visiting myRA.gov, or give us a call to find out about more options available to you or someone in your family. Retirement is not something that needs to be put off until it's too late.
